hikvision-ds-3e0105p-e-m-c
Hikvision DS-3E0105P-E/M(C) 4-Port Long-Range PoE Unmanaged Switch

The Hikvision DS-3E0105P-E/M(C) is a compact 5-port unmanaged switch with PoE on four ports, built for small Hikvision IP camera systems where the cameras sit further from the recorder than a normal cable run allows. Four 10/100 Mbps PoE ports share a 45 W budget and can deliver up to 30 W on a single port, while a fifth 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port provides the uplink to your NVR or router. Its long-range EXTEND mode pushes power and data up to 300 metres over ordinary network cable — genuinely useful on Egyptian villa plots, farm land and factory yards where the gate camera is nowhere near the equipment cabinet. Order the DS-3E0105P-E/M(C) today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-3E0105P-E/M(C)?

Standard Ethernet stops working at about 100 metres, which is the single most common headache on outdoor installations: the gate, the far wall or the back yard is simply too far from the cabinet, and the usual answer is an extra switch, an extra power point and an extra thing to go wrong. This switch solves it in one small metal box. Switch EXTEND on and ports 1–4 will carry power and video up to 300 metres on the cable you already pulled, so a single run reaches the perimeter. Its 6 kV surge protection on the PoE ports is equally practical in Egypt, where outdoor cable runs and summer storms put real stress on camera electronics.

Key Features & Benefits

Long-range EXTEND mode carries power and data up to 300 m, reaching gate and perimeter cameras without a second switch

Powers up to four Hikvision PoE IP cameras over the same cable that carries their video

Up to 30 W on one port under IEEE 802.3at, enough for a PTZ or high-power IR camera

6 kV surge protection on the PoE ports guards cameras and switch against spikes on outdoor runs

Dedicated fifth RJ45 port keeps the uplink to your NVR separate from the four camera ports

Unmanaged and plug-and-play — flip the EXTEND switch if you need it and nothing else

Metal, fan-free housing runs silently and survives dusty wall boxes

Small 121 mm footprint fits inside a compact camera cabinet or junction enclosure

Technical Specifications

Model: DS-3E0105P-E/M(C)

Type: Unmanaged Layer 2 PoE switch

PoE ports: 4 × 10/100 Mbps RJ45 (ports 1–4)

Uplink: 1 × 10/100 Mbps RJ45 non-PoE port

PoE standards: IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at

Total PoE power budget: 45 W

Maximum PoE power per port: 30 W

Transmission distance: up to 300 m with EXTEND on (10 Mbps); up to 100 m with EXTEND off (100 Mbps)

Surge protection: 6 kV

Switching capacity: 1 Gbps

Packet forwarding rate: 0.744 Mpps

MAC address table: 2K

Power supply: 54 V DC, 0.92 A (50 W max consumption)

Dimensions (W × H × D): 121.1 × 27.6 × 83.1 mm

Enclosure: Metal, fan-free

Operating temperature: 0 °C to 40 °C

Perfect For

Ideal where only a handful of cameras are needed but distance is the problem: a villa with gate, garage and garden cameras; a farm, nursery or land plot outside the city; the far corner of a factory yard or warehouse compound; a small shop, pharmacy or café; a clinic reception; a petrol station forecourt; or as an extension switch feeding a remote cluster of cameras back to the main rack on a larger site.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

Place the switch on a shelf or inside a wall-mounted cabinet and connect the supplied power adaptor. Run Cat5e or Cat6 from each Hikvision PoE IP camera to ports 1–4 and use port 5 to reach the NVR, router or main switch. If any camera is beyond 100 metres, turn on EXTEND — the ports then run at 10 Mbps, which is still sufficient for a single camera stream, and the reach extends to 300 metres. Nothing else needs configuring; cameras and recorder continue to be managed through Hik-Connect, iVMS-4200 or Hik-Partner Pro as normal.

What's in the Box

1 × Hikvision DS-3E0105P-E/M(C) PoE switch

1 × 54 V DC power adaptor

Mounting accessories

Quick start guide

Buy with Confidence from Speed4Trading in Egypt

Speed4Trading is an authorized Hikvision distributor in Mokattam, Cairo, serving Egyptian installers and businesses since 1999. With EXTEND off the ports run at 100 Mbps over the standard 100 metres. Actual reach depends on the camera model and the quality and condition of the cable.

Is 10 Mbps enough for a camera in long-range mode?
For a single IP camera stream, yes in most cases. A 2MP camera at typical bitrates fits comfortably within 10 Mbps. Very high-resolution cameras or very high bitrate settings may need the standard 100 Mbps mode and a shorter run.

Can I power four cameras at full 30 W each?
No. 30 W is the maximum for one port; the total across all four ports is capped at the 45 W budget.
