hikvision-ds-kh6000-e1
Hikvision DS-KH6000-E1 Screen-Free Audio Indoor Station

The Hikvision DS-KH6000-E1 is a screen-free audio indoor station for Hikvision IP video intercom systems. It has no display at all — it is a slim, 9-button audio answering point that lets you talk to the door station and release the door, and it is priced accordingly. In Egypt it is most often used as a cheap second or third answering point: the main 7-inch monitor goes in the living room, and a DS-KH6000-E1 goes in the kitchen, the bedroom or the guard room, so nobody has to run to the screen just to buzz someone in. Order the DS-KH6000-E1 today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-KH6000-E1?

Not every room needs a video screen. In a big flat, a villa with several floors, or a workshop with an office at the back, the thing that actually annoys people is the walk to the monitor. Paying full price for a second touchscreen to solve that is poor value. The DS-KH6000-E1 does the useful half of the job — hear the call, answer it, open the door — at a fraction of the cost, and it runs over the same single network cable with PoE so adding one does not mean adding a power socket. It is also a sensible main unit on its own where video simply is not needed, such as an internal office-to-gate line.

Key Features & Benefits

Low-cost way to add another answering point to an existing Hikvision IP intercom system

Clear two-way audio with noise suppression and echo cancellation, so conversations work at a noisy street gate

Nine touch buttons, four of them customisable for the functions you actually use

Powered over the network cable by standard PoE — one cable, no nearby power socket needed

Very low 4 W power consumption

Slim 21 mm body that sits almost flush on a wall, or stands on a desk or table

Internal calling between units, so rooms can talk to each other as well as to the gate

Supports up to 16 linked indoor extensions in the system

Technical Specifications

Display: None — screen-free audio indoor station

Controls: 9 touch buttons (4 customisable)

Audio: Built-in omnidirectional microphone and loudspeaker, adjustable volume

Audio compression: G.711 U/A at 64 Kbps, with noise suppression and echo cancellation

Network: 1 × RJ-45, 100 Mbps

Protocols: TCP/IP, SIP, RTSP

Power: Standard PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 VDC

Power consumption: 4 W or less

Linked indoor extension capacity: 16

Operating system: Linux

Dimensions: 120 mm × 120 mm × 21 mm

Weight: approx. 167 g

Operating temperature: -10 °C to 50 °C

Mounting: Wall or table mounting (indoor use only)

Perfect For

Villas and duplexes that need an answering point on a second floor or in the kitchen. Large apartments where the main monitor is too far from the bedrooms. Compound guard rooms and gatehouses. Small offices, shops and clinics where staff just need to hear the gate and open it. Workshops and warehouses with an office at the back of the building.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

The DS-KH6000-E1 is part of Hikvision's IP-based video intercom family and connects over standard network cabling. A single Cat-5e or Cat-6 run from a PoE switch carries both data and power, which is why it is so easy to retrofit as an extra unit; alternatively it can be powered locally from 12 VDC. It is managed and configured with Hikvision's iVMS-4200 client software alongside the rest of your intercom devices. It mounts on the wall or sits on a table, and because it is only 21 mm deep it does not dominate a hallway. Please note this model has no screen, so it cannot show video from the door station — pair it with a monitor such as a KH6 series indoor station where someone needs to see the visitor.

What's in the Box

1 × DS-KH6000-E1 audio indoor station

Wall mounting plate

Mounting screws and fittings

Quick start guide

Buy with Confidence from Speed4Trading in Egypt

Speed4Trading has supplied Hikvision equipment across Egypt since 1999, and we are honest about where a product fits.
