hikvision-ds-3e0108d-o
Hikvision DS-3E0108D-O 8-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Desktop Switch

The Hikvision DS-3E0108D-O is a compact 8-port Fast Ethernet unmanaged desktop switch for connecting computers, NVRs, printers, access points and other wired devices on a small network. All eight RJ45 ports run at 10/100 Mbps, there is nothing to configure, and the whole unit draws its power from a small 5 V DC adaptor — so it is quiet, cool and barely noticeable on a desk or screwed to the wall of a cabinet. Please note that this is a plain Ethernet switch: it does not supply Power over Ethernet, so any cameras connected to it need their own power source. It is the inexpensive way to turn one network point into eight in an Egyptian office, shop or home. Order the DS-3E0108D-O today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-3E0108D-O?

Almost every small premises eventually runs out of network points: the router has four sockets, and there are seven things that need plugging in. Rather than re-cabling, this switch takes one of those sockets and turns it into eight. It is unmanaged, which is the right choice here — there is no setup, no address to remember and nothing that can be misconfigured by someone who was only trying to plug in a printer. The ABS desktop body and fan-free design mean no noise in a shared office and nothing mechanical to fail, and because it supports both desktop and wall mounting you can get it out of the way inside a cabinet.

Key Features & Benefits

Turns a single network point into eight wired connections without re-cabling the premises

Completely unmanaged — no IP address, no login, nothing to set up or maintain

Fan-free design means total silence, suitable for a reception desk or shared office

Very low power draw from a small 5 V DC adaptor, so it costs almost nothing to leave running

Store-and-forward switching with automatic MAC learning keeps traffic clean between devices

Auto MDI/MDIX on all ports, so any standard patch cable works

Desktop or wall mounting, so it can sit on a shelf or hide inside a cabinet

Certified to CE, FCC, UL and RoHS standards — real compliance, not a generic no-name switch

Technical Specifications

Model: DS-3E0108D-O

Type: Unmanaged Fast Ethernet desktop switch (non-PoE)

Ports: 8 × RJ45, 10/100 Mbps

Switching capacity: 1.6 Gbps

Packet forwarding rate: 1.19 Mpps

MAC address table: 2K

Packet buffer: 0.768 Mbit

Switching method: Store-and-forward

Power supply: 5 V DC, 0.6 A

Enclosure: ABS plastic, fan-free

Installation: Desktop or wall mount

Operating temperature: 0 °C to 40 °C

Operating humidity: 5% to 95%, non-condensing

Compliance: CE-EMC, FCC Part 15 Subpart B, UL 60950-1, CB (IEC 62368-1), CE-LVD, RoHS, WEEE, REACH

Perfect For

A good fit wherever a few wired devices need to share one network drop: a small office or accountant's practice with several PCs and a network printer; a shop or pharmacy with a till, a scale and a back-office computer; a clinic reception; a home or apartment with a smart TV, desktop PC and NVR behind the same router; a school classroom or computer lab bench; or a cabinet where an NVR, a router and a Wi-Fi access point all need to meet.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

Stand the switch on a desk or shelf, or wall-mount it inside a cabinet, then connect the supplied 5 V DC adaptor. Run one patch cable from your router or existing switch to any port, and connect your devices to the remaining ports with standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable. There is no configuration of any kind. The switch passes traffic for Hikvision NVRs and self-powered cameras exactly as it does for computers and printers, and Hik-Connect, iVMS-4200 and Hik-Partner Pro work across it normally.

What's in the Box

1 × Hikvision DS-3E0108D-O 8-port desktop switch

1 × 5 V DC power adaptor

Wall-mount accessories

Quick start guide

Buy with Confidence from Speed4Trading in Egypt

Speed4Trading supplies genuine Hikvision networking and security products throughout Egypt from our premises in Mokattam, Cairo.
