hikvision-ds-3e0508d-o
Hikvision DS-3E0508D-O 8-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Desktop Switch

The Hikvision DS-3E0508D-O is a compact 8-port gigabit unmanaged desktop switch for small networks that need real speed between devices. All eight RJ45 ports run at 10/100/1000 Mbps with 16 Gbps of switching capacity, so copying large files, pulling recorded video off an NVR or backing up to a network drive happens at gigabit rather than being throttled to 100 Mbps. It runs fan-free from a small 5 V DC adaptor and includes 2 kV surge protection. Please note this is a plain Ethernet switch: it does not supply Power over Ethernet, so cameras connected to it need their own power. Order the DS-3E0508D-O today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-3E0508D-O?

The moment a small office starts moving real files — exported camera footage, design files, accounting backups — a 100 Mbps switch becomes the bottleneck everybody feels and nobody can see. Replacing it with gigabit is the cheapest performance improvement available, and this switch does it without adding complexity: eight gigabit ports, no configuration, no fan, almost no power draw. The ABS desktop body supports both desk and wall mounting, so it can either sit next to the router or disappear into a cabinet, and the 2 kV surge protection adds a margin of safety that generic switches rarely offer.

Key Features & Benefits

Eight full gigabit ports remove the 100 Mbps bottleneck between PCs, NVRs and network storage

16 Gbps switching capacity and 11.9 Mpps forwarding rate keep every port running at full speed at once

2 kV surge protection gives a margin of safety that no-name desktop switches do not provide

Completely unmanaged — no IP address, no login, nothing to set up or break

Fan-free design is silent, so it is at home on a reception desk or in a shared office

Runs from a small 5 V DC adaptor, drawing very little power when left on permanently

Auto MDI/MDIX on all ports, so any standard patch cable works in any port

Desktop or wall mounting, with a small 124 mm wide body that fits inside most cabinets

Technical Specifications

Model: DS-3E0508D-O

Type: Unmanaged gigabit desktop switch (non-PoE)

Ports: 8 × RJ45, 10/100/1000 Mbps, auto MDI/MDIX

Switching capacity: 16 Gbps

Packet forwarding rate: 11.90 Mpps

Packet buffer: 1.5 Mbit

Switching method: Store-and-forward

Surge protection: 2 kV

Power supply: 5 V DC

Dimensions (W × H × D): 124.00 × 25.00 × 61.00 mm

Enclosure: ABS plastic, fan-free

Installation: Desktop or wall mount

Operating temperature: 0 °C to 40 °C

Operating humidity: 5% to 95%, non-condensing

Compliance: CE-EMC, CB (IEC 62368-1), CE-LVD, CE-RoHS, WEEE, REACH

Perfect For

A sensible upgrade wherever wired devices need to talk to each other quickly: a small office or design studio moving large files between PCs; an accountant's or lawyer's practice with a shared server or NAS; a shop or showroom with a till system, back-office PC and NVR; a clinic; a home or apartment with a desktop, smart TV, games console and recorder behind one router; a school computer bench; or a cabinet where an NVR, router and access point all need a gigabit link.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

Stand the switch on a desk or shelf, or wall-mount it inside a cabinet, and connect the supplied 5 V DC adaptor. Patch one port to your router or existing switch and connect your devices to the rest using Cat5e or Cat6 cable — Cat5e or better is needed to reach gigabit speeds. There is no configuration at all. The switch carries traffic for Hikvision NVRs and self-powered IP cameras exactly as it does for computers, and Hik-Connect, iVMS-4200 and Hik-Partner Pro work across it normally.

What's in the Box

1 × Hikvision DS-3E0508D-O 8-port gigabit desktop switch

1 × 5 V DC power adaptor

Wall-mount accessories

Quick start guide

Buy with Confidence from Speed4Trading in Egypt

From our premises in Mokattam, Cairo, Speed4Trading has supplied genuine Hikvision networking and security products across Egypt since 1999.
