Hikvision DS-3E0109P-E/M(B) 8-Port Long-Range Unmanaged PoE Switch

The Hikvision DS-3E0109P-E/M(B) is a 9-port Fast Ethernet unmanaged switch with Power over Ethernet on eight ports and long-range transmission up to 300 metres. Eight 10/100 Mbps PoE ports share a 60 W budget and can deliver up to 30 W on a single port, while a ninth 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port provides the uplink to your NVR or router. With 6 kV surge protection on the PoE ports and a metal housing, it is built for the real conditions of Egyptian outdoor installations — long cable runs across villa plots, factory yards and compound perimeters where the cameras are far from the equipment cabinet. Order the DS-3E0109P-E/M(B) today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-3E0109P-E/M(B)?

On an eight-camera outdoor job, two things usually go wrong: a camera sits beyond the 100-metre limit of normal Ethernet, and a summer spike travelling down an exposed cable takes out a camera port. This switch addresses both directly. Its long-range mode carries power and data up to 300 metres on ports 1–8, so perimeter and gate cameras can be reached on a single run with no mid-way switch or extra power point. The 6 kV surge protection on every PoE port gives the camera and the switch a fighting chance against the spikes that outdoor runs attract. And it stays unmanaged, so there is no configuration to get wrong on site.

Key Features & Benefits

• Long-range transmission up to 300 m on all eight PoE ports — reach the gate and perimeter without a second switch
• Powers up to eight Hikvision PoE IP cameras over the cable that already carries their video
• 6 kV surge protection on the PoE ports protects cameras and switch on exposed outdoor runs
• Up to 30 W on a single port, enough headroom for a PTZ or high-power IR camera in the mix
• Dedicated ninth RJ45 port keeps the uplink to your NVR clear of the camera ports
• 1.8 Gbps switching capacity and 1.34 Mpps forwarding rate handle eight simultaneous camera streams
• Metal housing stands up to dusty and hot wall cabinets far better than plastic alternatives
• Unmanaged and plug-and-play — no IP address, no login, nothing to maintain

Perfect For

Suited to eight-camera installations where distance and exposure are part of the brief: a villa or duplex with gate, driveway, garden and roof cameras; a factory yard or warehouse compound; a farm or agricultural plot; a petrol station; a construction site office; a school or clinic courtyard; or a block of a gated compound. It is also useful as an edge switch covering one far corner of a larger site and feeding back to the main rack.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

Mount the switch on a shelf or in a wall cabinet and connect the supplied 48 V DC adaptor. Run Cat5e or Cat6 from each Hikvision PoE IP camera to ports 1–8 and use port 9 for the uplink to your NVR, router or main switch. Where a camera is beyond the standard 100 metres, the long-range mode extends reach up to 300 metres — bear in mind that actual distance depends on the camera model and the quality and condition of the cable. No configuration is required on the switch; cameras and recorder are managed as usual through Hik-Connect, iVMS-4200 or Hik-Partner Pro.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it power eight cameras at once?
Yes, as long as their combined PoE draw stays within the 60 W budget — about 7.5 W per camera across all eight ports. Standard bullet and dome cameras fit; if you are adding PTZ or high-power IR models, count the load first or ask our team.

How reliable is the 300 metre figure?
It is the rated maximum for long-range mode on ports 1–8. In practice the achievable distance depends on the camera model and on the grade and condition of the cable, so leave margin and use good quality Cat5e or Cat6 on long runs.

What does the 6 kV surge protection cover?
The PoE ports. It helps absorb voltage spikes induced on outdoor cable runs, which is the most common cause of failed camera ports on exposed sites.

Does it have a web interface?
No. It is an unmanaged switch — no IP address, no login, no configuration.
