Hikvision DS-3E0518P-E/M 16-Port Gigabit Unmanaged PoE Switch

The Hikvision DS-3E0518P-E/M is a 1U rack-mount unmanaged PoE switch with 16 gigabit PoE ports and two gigabit SFP fibre uplinks. Every access port runs at 10/100/1000 Mbps and delivers Power over Ethernet, so higher-resolution Hikvision cameras get both full gigabit bandwidth and their power from a single cable, while the two SFP slots let you carry the aggregated traffic back over fibre to a distant NVR or core switch. For Egyptian sites that have moved past 2MP cameras — compounds, factories, hotels and office floors running 4MP, 6MP or 8MP models — it keeps the access layer gigabit end to end. Order the DS-3E0518P-E/M today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-3E0518P-E/M?

Fast Ethernet switches are fine for 2MP cameras, but once a site standardises on higher-resolution models, or once several people start pulling recorded footage at the same time, 100 Mbps access ports become the thing slowing the system down. This switch gives each of its 16 cameras a full gigabit port, so streaming and playback do not fight each other. Its two SFP uplinks solve the other common problem on Egyptian sites: the server room is often far from the camera rack, and copper stops at 100 metres. With fibre in the SFP slots, the distance between the two simply stops being a constraint.

Key Features & Benefits

• 16 gigabit PoE ports give every camera full 1000 Mbps bandwidth, ready for 4MP, 6MP and 8MP models
• Powers and connects each camera over one cable, removing sixteen separate power adaptors from the installation
• Up to 30 W on a single port under IEEE 802.3at, enough for PTZ domes and long-range IR cameras
• Two gigabit SFP fibre uplinks carry the aggregated traffic far beyond the 100 m limit of copper
• 36 Gbps switching capacity and 26.784 Mpps forwarding rate handle simultaneous live view and playback
• Unmanaged and plug-and-play — no IP address, no login, nothing to configure or maintain on site
• Metal 1U chassis mounts directly into a 19-inch rack next to the NVR
• Internal 100–240 V AC power supply copes with the voltage variation common on Egyptian sites

Perfect For

A good fit for medium Egyptian installations where resolution matters: a compound or gated community with 4MP cameras on gates and perimeters; a factory floor or warehouse; a hotel or serviced apartment building; a single floor of an office or administrative building; a clinic or private hospital wing; a school; or a large retail showroom. It also works well as a distribution switch feeding fibre back to a core switch in a multi-building design.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

Fit the switch into a standard 19-inch rack with the supplied brackets and connect mains power — there is no external power brick. Run Cat5e or Cat6 from each Hikvision PoE IP camera to ports 1–16, then fit SFP transceivers matched to your fibre type and run the uplinks to your NVR location or core switch. The switch needs no setup; your cameras and recorder are still managed the usual way through Hik-Connect, iVMS-4200 or Hik-Partner Pro.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many cameras will the 125 W budget support?
All 16 ports can be used, but the combined PoE draw must stay under 125 W — roughly 7.8 W per camera across all sixteen. That suits standard gigabit bullet and dome cameras. If your list includes 30 W PTZ or high-power IR models, you will need to count the load or choose a higher-budget switch; our team can check this for you.

Are the SFP modules included?
No. SFP transceivers are ordered separately so they match your fibre type and distance. We stock compatible modules and can supply them with the switch.

Can I use the SFP ports for cameras?
No. The two SFP ports are fibre uplinks for connecting to an NVR, core switch or another building. Cameras connect to the 16 RJ45 PoE ports.

Does it support VLANs or remote management?
No — this is an unmanaged switch with no web interface. For VLANs, QoS and cloud management, consider the Hikvision smart managed series.
