Hikvision DS-KD-BK Blank Filler Module for Modular Door Stations

The Hikvision DS-KD-BK is a blank module — a sealed filler panel that occupies an unused grid position in a modular door station. If your mounting box takes two or three modules but you are only fitting one or two now, the DS-KD-BK closes the empty slot so the panel is complete, weather-sealed and tidy instead of leaving an open hole. It is the same 98.5 × 100 mm module footprint as the rest of the KD8 range and is IP65 rated. Order the DS-KD-BK today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-KD-BK?

Hikvision mounting boxes come in fixed one, two and three module sizes, so a panel very often has a slot left over — either because the layout only needed two modules in a three-module box, or because a keypad or card module is planned for a later phase. Leaving that slot open invites dust, rain and insects into the back of the panel and looks unfinished at the entrance. The blank module fills it properly and can simply be swapped out for a real module when you expand.

Key Features & Benefits

• Fills an unused module slot so the door station panel looks finished, not half-built
• Keeps dust, water and insects out of the empty grid position — IP65 rated
• Standard KD8 module footprint, so it drops into any frame position
• Lets you buy a larger mounting box now and add real modules later
• Requires no wiring and draws no power
• Matches the finish and lines of the other modules in the panel

Technical Specifications

Perfect For

Any villa gate, apartment building entrance, office, clinic or factory door where the Hikvision mounting box has more module slots than the current panel uses, and for phased installations where a keypad, card or nametag module will be added later.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

The DS-KD-BK simply seats into a spare position in the module frame and is held by the front cover like any other module — there is nothing to wire and nothing to configure. It is part of the Hikvision KD8 / KD9 second-generation modular door station range, so it fits the same frames and mounting boxes as the main intercom modules: the DS-KD-ACF1/Plastic, DS-KD-ACF2/Plastic and DS-KD-ACF3/Plastic flush boxes and the DS-KD-ACW2 and DS-KD-ACW3 surface boxes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does this module actually do?
Nothing electrically — it is a blank cover panel. Its job is to fill a module slot you are not using, keeping the panel sealed and neat.

Which door stations is it compatible with?
Hikvision KD8 / KD9 modular door stations and their mounting boxes, including the DS-KD-ACF1/ACF2/ACF3 flush boxes and the DS-KD-ACW2 and DS-KD-ACW3 surface boxes.

Does it need wiring or power?
No. It is entirely passive, so there is nothing to connect.

Can I replace it later with a keypad or card module?
Yes. That is the usual reason to fit one — buy the larger box and the blank now, then swap the blank for a real module when you expand the system.
