The three ColorVu cameras in this kit do something different: the moment a person is detected after dark, a white strobe fires and a siren sounds. Almost nobody stays to find out what happens next. Footage you never needed is the best footage there is.

3 × Hikvision DS-2CD1347G3H-LIU/SL — 4MP ColorVu deterrence turret
Full colour at night, not grey infrared. Built-in mic so you hear what happened, not just see it. Strobe light and siren for active deterrence. These go on the entrance, the gate and the main face of the building — the three places a stranger has to pass.
1 × Hikvision DS-2CD1063G2-LIU (4mm) — 6MP bullet
The long shot: the driveway, the corridor, the yard. Six megapixels means you can zoom into the recording afterwards and still read a face or a plate — the thing that actually matters when you hand footage to someone.
1 × Hikvision DS-7608NXI-K1/8P(B) — 8-channel PoE AcuSense 4K NVR
Eight built-in PoE ports: one cable per camera carries power and video together. No separate adapters to mount, nothing extra on the breaker. AcuSense filters cats, shadows and rain out of your alerts, so when your phone buzzes it is a person or a vehicle.

Four cameras on an eight-channel recorder leaves four channels free. That is deliberate — when you want to cover the back door or the roof next year, you buy a camera, not a new system. And because every camera runs on PoE, the whole installation is five cables and one plug. Fewer parts, fewer things to fail, one afternoon of work.

The recorder ships without a hard drive
It has one drive bay and it comes empty. Without a drive, the system records nothing. It needs a surveillance-grade drive built to write continuously, 24 hours a day — a desktop PC drive will work for a while and then fail early.
We stock the WD Purple 6TB, which holds roughly two to three months of continuous recording with four cameras. Add it to your cart with the bundle and we fit and format it before delivery at no extra charge. Already own a drive, or prefer to buy your own? Order the bundle on its own — that is completely fine.

Common questions
Is a hard drive included?
No — the recorder ships with an empty drive bay, and a drive is an optional extra. We stock the WD Purple 6TB and will install and format it free of charge if you order it with the bundle.
Do I need a separate power supply for the cameras?
No. All four cameras are powered over the same network cable that carries the video, straight from the recorder's PoE ports.
Can I watch the cameras from my phone?
Yes — through Hikvision's Hik-Connect app, on iPhone and Android, live and recorded, from anywhere with internet.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes. The recorder has eight channels and this kit uses four, so you can add up to four more cameras without changing anything else.
How much area does this cover?
It is sized for a villa, a floor of a building, a shop or a small office — typically three approach points plus one long view. If your site is larger, message us and we will size a kit for it.
