Hikvision DS-K1109DKFB-QR Fingerprint, QR & DESFire Card Reader IP65

The Hikvision DS-K1109DKFB-QR is a multi-credential Pro Series reader that combines fingerprint recognition, QR code scanning, high-security DESFire and FeliCa cards, standard M1 (Mifare) cards and PIN entry in one IP65-rated unit. It holds up to 5,000 fingerprints and connects to your access controller over RS-485 with OSDP support or over Wiegand. For Egyptian businesses this is the reader to fit when one door has to serve everyone — staff with cards or fingerprints, contractors with a one-time QR code sent to their phone, and managers who need a PIN as a second factor. Order the DS-K1109DKFB-QR today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-K1109DKFB-QR?

Most sites end up with a mix of people at the same door: permanent staff, shift workers who keep forgetting their card, delivery drivers, maintenance contractors and visitors. Issuing physical cards to all of them is slow and expensive, and nobody ever returns them. This reader lets you give each group the credential that suits it — a fingerprint for staff, a QR code for a scheduled visitor, a card for a contractor, a PIN for a manager — while the door, the rules and the audit trail stay exactly the same. Being IP65 rated and specified down to -40 °C and up to 65 °C, it can also go on the outside of the building rather than only in a lobby.

Key Features & Benefits

• Four credential types in one reader: fingerprint, QR code, card and PIN — no second device on the wall
• Up to 5,000 fingerprints, enough for a large office, factory or campus door
• QR code scanning makes visitor and contractor access simple — a code on a phone replaces a temporary card
• Reads DESFire and FeliCa encrypted credentials as well as M1 (Mifare) cards, so you can tighten card security over time
• IP65 rated for outdoor and dusty installations, with a wide -40 °C to 65 °C working range
• RS-485 with OSDP protocol support, plus Wiegand W26/W34 for existing panels
• Bluetooth module support (over RS-485) for mobile credential workflows
• Tamper interface and buzzer give immediate feedback and attack warning

Perfect For

Factories and warehouses with high staff numbers and a constant flow of drivers and contractors. Office buildings and business parks that need visitor access without printing cards. Gated compounds and villas where residents use fingerprints and guests receive a QR code. Clinics and laboratories needing fingerprint-grade certainty on restricted rooms. Construction sites and logistics yards, where IP65 and the wide temperature range matter. Co-working spaces and training centres with short-term members.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

The reader is wall-mounted, so it fixes directly to a frame, post or wall without a gang box. Wire 12 VDC power, then connect over RS-485 to a Hikvision access controller — which is the connection you want, since QR code reading and the Bluetooth module both require RS-485 — or over Wiegand W26/W34 to a third-party panel. Cardholders, fingerprints, QR validity windows, schedules and reports are all managed in the controller through Hikvision software such as iVMS-4200 or Hik-Partner Pro, so this door appears in the same reports as every other door on site. Allow a 14 W budget per reader when sizing the power supply.

What's in the Box

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need RS-485 to use the QR code feature?
Yes. QR code reading and the optional Bluetooth module are supported only when the reader is connected over RS-485, not over Wiegand.

How many fingerprints can it hold?
Up to 5,000, which covers most single-site offices and factories.

Can it be mounted outside on a gate?
Yes. It is IP65 rated and rated for -40 °C to 65 °C operation, so exposed gates and yard doors are fine.

Is it a standalone terminal?
No. It is a reader and must be connected to an access controller, which stores the credentials and operates the lock.
