Hikvision DS-KD-ACW2 2-Module Surface Mounting Box

The Hikvision DS-KD-ACW2 is the surface mounting box for a two-module modular door station. It is what you order when the wall is already finished and cutting a recess is not an option: the aviation-aluminium frame screws straight onto the wall surface and carries the main video intercom module plus one more module beside it — a keypad, nametag or card module. Order the DS-KD-ACW2 today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-KD-ACW2?

Most Egyptian retrofits happen on walls that are already plastered and painted, often at a compound gate or an existing building entrance where nobody wants to break out a recess. The DS-KD-ACW2 solves that: it mounts on the surface, needs only a cable entry rather than a buried gang box, and still produces a proper two-module panel with a solid aluminium face instead of modules fixed individually to the wall.

Key Features & Benefits

• Holds exactly two door station modules side by side
• Surface mounting — no wall recess, no buried gang box, ideal for retrofits
• Aviation-aluminium cover and installation frame for a rigid, weather-tolerant panel
• Slim 32.7 mm frame depth keeps the panel close to the wall
• Flat surface mounting plate included for the two-module layout
• Rated for outdoor entrances from -40 °C to 60 °C
• Far quicker to install than a flush box on an existing finished wall

Technical Specifications

Perfect For

Retrofits on finished walls at villa and compound gates, existing apartment building entrances, office and clinic doors, shop fronts, and warehouse or factory personnel doors — anywhere an intercom module needs a keypad or nametag module beside it but the wall cannot be cut open.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

The installation frame is fixed to the wall surface, the cable is brought in behind it, the two modules are seated in the frame, and the aluminium cover is fitted over the front. It is the two-module surface box for Hikvision second-generation KD8 / KD9 modular door stations, and is normally paired with a video intercom module door station such as the DS-KD8003-IME1(B) plus one card, keypad or button module. Note that gang boxes are not supplied with it. For three modules on the surface use the DS-KD-ACW3; if you can recess into the wall, the DS-KD-ACF2/Plastic is the flush equivalent.

What’s in the Box

• Aviation-aluminium installation frame for two modules
• Aviation-aluminium front cover
• Two-module flat surface mounting plate
• Screws and fixing pack

Frequently Asked Questions

Which door stations does it fit?
Hikvision KD8 / KD9 second-generation modular door stations — typically a video intercom module door station such as the DS-KD8003-IME1(B) together with one card, keypad or button module.

How many modules does it hold?
Two.

Is this surface or flush mounting?
Surface. It screws onto a finished wall, so no recess is needed. The flush equivalent is the DS-KD-ACF2/Plastic.

Does it include a gang box or the modules?
No. Gang boxes are not included and the door station modules are ordered separately — this is the frame, cover and mounting plate.
