Hikvision DS-KD-KP 12-Key Keypad Module for Modular Door Stations

The Hikvision DS-KD-KP is a 12-key keypad module for modular door stations. It adds two things to an entrance panel: residents and staff can unlock the door by entering a PIN, and visitors can call a specific flat or office by typing its room number instead of hunting for a name. The keypad is backlit, draws its power from the main video intercom module, and seats into the same module frame. Order the DS-KD-KP today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-KD-KP?

Buildings with more units than a nametag panel can label — or with tenants who change often — are far easier to run with a keypad. Nobody has to reprint nametags, visitors dial the room number they were given, and residents let themselves in with a code rather than carrying a card or waiting for someone to answer. For a villa or a small office, the PIN unlock alone often removes the need for a separate access control reader at the door.

Key Features & Benefits

• Unlock the door by entering a password — no card or key needed for residents and staff
• Visitors call any flat or office by typing its room number, so one keypad serves a whole building
• Backlight compensation keeps the keys usable at night
• Avoids reprinting nametags in buildings where tenants change
• Powered from the main door station module — 2 W or less, no separate supply to install
• Wide operating range from -40 °C to 60 °C for outdoor entrances
• Standard KD8 module footprint, so it drops straight into an existing frame slot

Perfect For

Apartment buildings with more flats than a nametag panel can hold, compounds with changing tenants, offices and clinics where staff need code entry while visitors call reception, factory and warehouse personnel doors, and villas that want PIN entry without a separate access control reader.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

The DS-KD-KP seats into one position of a Hikvision module frame beside the main video intercom module and is powered from it at 12 VDC, so there is no extra power supply or cable run. It is part of the KD8 / KD9 modular door station range — Hikvision lists it as working with the DS-KD8003-IME1 video intercom module door station and other Hikvision modular video intercom products, and names it among the compatible accessories for the DS-KD-ACF2/Plastic and DS-KD-ACF3/Plastic flush mounting boxes. It also fits the DS-KD-ACW2 and DS-KD-ACW3 surface boxes. PIN codes and room mapping are set from iVMS-4200 or the door station web interface.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which door stations is it compatible with?
Hikvision KD8 / KD9 modular door stations. Hikvision names the DS-KD8003-IME1 video intercom module door station and other Hikvision modular video intercom products, and lists the keypad among the accessories for the DS-KD-ACF2/Plastic and DS-KD-ACF3/Plastic mounting boxes.

Can it open the door on its own?
It provides the PIN entry, but the lock is driven by the main door station module — the keypad must be installed as part of a modular panel, not used standalone.

Does it need its own power supply?
No. It runs on 12 VDC fed from the main module and consumes 2 W or less.

Keypad or nametag module — which should I choose?
Use the keypad where there are many units or tenants change often. Use the DS-KD-KK (6 buttons) or DS-KD-K12 (12 buttons) where visitors should press a labelled name instead of typing a number. Many panels carry both in a three-module box.
