Hikvision DS-KD-M Mifare Card Reader Module

The Hikvision DS-KD-M is a Mifare card reader module for Hikvision modular door stations such as the DS-KD8003-IME1. It is an add-on module, not a standalone reader: it joins the module stack on your door station panel and gives residents and staff card or key-fob entry alongside the video call button. For Egyptian apartment buildings, offices and compounds, it is the cheapest way to move a building off physical keys without replacing the door station you already installed. Order the DS-KD-M today from Speed4Trading with genuine Hikvision stock, official warranty and fast delivery across Egypt.

Why Buy the Hikvision DS-KD-M?

Keys are the weak point of almost every building. They get copied, lost and never returned, and the only real fix is changing the lock. A card reader changes that economics completely: when a tenant moves out or an employee leaves, you delete their card and the problem is over in seconds. The DS-KD-M brings that to a door station you may already own, in the same panel, with no extra wall box and no extra cable run. It is the quiet, low-cost module that turns a video intercom into a working access control point.

Key Features & Benefits

• Adds Mifare card and key-fob door release to a Hikvision modular door station
• Revoke a lost or returned card instantly instead of changing locks
• Fits the same door station panel as your camera and keypad modules — one tidy entrance, not three devices
• IP65 rated for outdoor gates and street-facing entrances
• Powered from the module stack at 12 VDC and passes 12 VDC on to the next module — no separate PSU for the reader
• Very low 2 W power draw
• Flush and surface mounting both supported

Perfect For

Apartment buildings issuing one card per flat. Compound pedestrian gates where residents should not have to call the guard. Offices and clinics where staff need entry before reception opens. Factories and warehouses with a personnel door separate from the vehicle gate. Shops and showrooms with a staff-only back entrance.

Easy Installation & Compatibility

The DS-KD-M is part of the Hikvision modular door station family and connects to the main unit through the module-to-module ports — one input, one output — so modules chain together and the main unit handles the network connection. The 8-position DIP switch sets the module address within the stack. It mounts flush or on the surface using the standard Hikvision video intercom brackets, selected by the number of modules in your panel. Cards and users are managed from the door station's own configuration interface and through iVMS-4200, and the door station keeps working with Hik-Connect exactly as before. The main unit and the mounting bracket are sold separately; our team will confirm the right set for your entrance.
