You see who is at the door clearly, you talk to them, you let them in — from the screen or from your phone through Hik-Connect, wherever you are.
Where it sits on the ladder: it costs a little more than the DS-KH6110-WE1 (a 4.3-inch screen) — and for that small difference you get a screen roughly three times the area at a far higher resolution. That is why this is the value point of the range. It is cheaper than the DS-KH6320-WTE1 — both are 7-inch at the same resolution, so unless you specifically need what the 6320 adds, the newer-looking 6350 saves you the difference. And if you want the most luxurious option, the DS-KH9310-WTE1 with a full Android system sits above them both.
Where it actually gets used
A flat or a duplex: the main screen by the entrance — built-in Wi-Fi means getting it onto the network is easy, with no extra cabling. A villa: connect more than one screen, on different floors, to the same door station. While you are out: the doorbell reaches you on Hik-Connect — you see, answer and unlock from the phone.
